A day of sweet nothings

We've had a two days of nothing much that we have to do. We have started up our home-schooling, the children are super excited and I am slowly getting the grips of where we were when we went on our summer break.

So, part from diving into math we have had a few days of doing laundry, relaxing together and waiting for Friday to arrive.

At one point, I was sitting fiddling with my camera, when I noticed that little one became very quiet. I looked up and he was sitting at the other side of the room, having laid his hands on big brother's ipod. Very pleased with himself, as you can see.

The good thing about days when absolutely nothing happens, is that the smallest little thing is so exciting. Like when we got the delivery of socks for the children. Excitement all around!

I love star print.

The beach with a 2year old

Another evening at the beach, in the beginning of summer. Being at the beach with a 2year-old is just a gift. Everything is great. It doesn't matter if the weather does permit a dip in the sea, he is just as happy to jump in some puddles (this photo was from his first trip this summer and he tried taking his shoes off, but he did not like it, so he kept his shoes on that evening, nowadays, he runs barefoot)

A treasure for mom

Please don't be in a rush to grow up, little treasure of mine.

A visit to the playground

We have been working like crazy for 18months. At first we thought it was going to be 10 months and we were really proud to put all efforts into turning things around. That stretched to 12 months and after that it just went on and on and finally, after 18 months of working every single day, I have arrived at a point where I realize that no matter how much effort I put into our business, there will always people and situations, who are competing with our family life. So we have decided to prioritize, no matter what, we have to have family time. Here are some precious family time spent at one of our favourite playgrounds.

Little one bouncing with some help from dad.

I love to see him toddle in the park.

We took this trip because I needed to visit my doctor, so I spent most
of the time at the park lying on a quilt reading a magazine *I don't know when I last did that...10years ago?*.
Hence most photos are of children, post 2 hours constant playing  in summer heat. They are more or less worn out at this point.

I didn't see much of I, he spent most of the time on a skateboarding-traning-thing, which was a brilliant equipment for older children to play on.

A enjoying a spin.

I know my blog is a little bare at the moment, but please feel welcome to check back, I will fill it with lots of things I love, so you get a good picture of who I am.

I hope you have enjoyed our moment in the park and wishing you the best start of the weekend.

Our moments at the beach

I have been together with my husband for 17 years now. I LOVE being with him. We met at university, programming together and later we started up our own business together, were we are working together and I LOVE it! :)

7weeks ago, he had to take on a client 4hours by car from here, so nowadays we are on our own 5 days a week. It is so hard, not only being on my own with 3 children, but just not having him here. I feel half the person when he is not with us.

When he is back, we love to go the beach.

We bring our picnic blanket and yummy treats and just hang out together. The children are at such a great age (10, 7 and 2) and are able to play without us running after them all the time.

I can't wait for the weekend to be here, so we can be together!

Welcome to my new blog!

Welcome to my new blog! I am so excited to start up a-new.

I have been blogging since 2007, but decided to start fresh. Who I am? I am a very soon to be mom of 40 years with 3 wonderful children and a husband that I adore. I work from home since 9 years and is juggling work, home-making, home-schooling and with this blog I would like to capture my strive toward growing as a person and as an aspiring photographer and my attempts at capturing the little golden moment in life that so easily can pass us by if we don't pay them any attention as well as share it with you.

First out, this weekend. We live by the sea and on Saturday, we heard this airplane noise just outside our house. We rushed to our bedroom window and was met by a wonderful display.

These people were absolutely amazing, two girls were standing on the wings of the planes and they did all sorts of stunts.

Little one (2year-old) also watched.
